Potato Wreath Workshop: A Foam-Free Holiday Starburst, Thursday, December 3

6-8 pm

$79.00

Full, lush, bursting out in every direction like a starburst of evergreen, berries, and feathery grass. The secret holding it all together? A humble spud.

It’s an old florist’s trick that’s having a well-deserved revival. This fully compostable wreath base holds moisture to keep your greens fresh, but it doesn’t shed microplastics or linger in landfills like standard floral foam. When the holidays are over, you can chuck the whole thing in your compost or yard waste bin.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to prepare your potato base and build a full, layered wreath, brimming with texture and seasonal charm. We’ll work with a selection of local, seasonal greens and botanicals, along with ribbons and festive accents to make it your own. You’ll leave with a ready-to-hang wreath and the know-how to repeat it for years to come.

Designed for outdoor display. Hang it in a cool, shady spot and it’ll stay fresh through the season.

No experience needed, and all materials are provided.

Please note: Due to space limitations, each registration includes one person and one wreath. We love when friends or partners join—just be sure each person has their own registration.
